Product Overview

The PS74ADF-SERIAL-CARD is a simple and effective PC interface card that adds four external DB9 serial ports to your PC system, ideal for connecting legacy hardware such as card readers and printers. The four ports can be independently configured for RS232, RS422 or RS485 connections via onboard DIP switches as well as configurable power options. The Asix chipset ensures wide compatibility, bi-directional speeds up to 921.6Kb/s per port and 256-byte FIFO. The card also includes four low profile brackets for installation in small form factor desktops.
  • Easily add four external DB9 serial ports to your PC, ideal for legacy devices
  • Each port operates independently, with DIP switches for selecting RS232, RS422 or RS485 connection
  • Configurable per-port power over pin 9 via aux SATA power: 12V (1.5A per port), 5V (1.5A) or no power (RI)
  • Per-port power modes are configured via jumpers
  • Asix AX99100 Chipset and 16C1050 UART with wide compatibility for 16C450, 16C550, 16C650, 16C750, and 16C950
  • Max baud rate of 921.6Kb/s per port
  • COM Retention and 256 Byte FIFO
  • Even, Odd, None, Space, and Mark parity modes
  • Supports Windows 7/8/10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022 & Linux 2.6.13+ (LTS versions only)
  • ESD Protection: ±8kV (Contact), ±15kV (Air), ±15kV (HBM)
  • Fitted with two standard brackets and includes four low profile brackets
  • 2 Year manufacturer warranty
