Product Overview

The Powerline 8 from Ansmann is an intelligent desktop battery charger that is suitable for recharging up to 8x AA/AAA batteries with either NiCd or NiMH chemistry. The charger features microprocessor control and individual monitoring of each cell, ensuring each battery is charged to maximum capacity. Once batteries are fully charged the controller will switch to trickle charging, meaning batteries can be left in place until needed. The Powerline 8 also utilises a Discharge function that can refresh batteries that have been kept in long-term storage, allowing you to maximise their potential.
  • Individual charge supervision for each cell with microprocessor controlled charging
  • Twin colour LED indicators for battery status and error indication
  • Trickle charging with automatic cut-off function
  • Charging current: 8x 500mA ±20%, Discharging current: 8x 200mA ±20%
  • Approx. charging time for AA/AAA 1000mAh: 2-4 hours
  • Mechanical reverse polarity protection
  • Mulitple safety systems including Alkaline/faulty cell detection and overcharging protection
  • 100-240V, 50/60Hz operation for worldwide use
  • 0°C to 25°C Operating temperature range (-20°C to 70°C storage temperature)
  • Robust IP20 rated ABS enclosure
  • Supplied with both UK and Euro plugs
