Product Overview

Optical smoke detection that is constantly scanning the environment, and when dense smoke breaks the optical beam, the alarm is triggered, informing you of potential danger. It's interconnecting ability allows you to connect up to other BG heat, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, meaning if one goes off, they all go off.
  • Optical smoke alarm that is hard-wired into your homes mains system
  • Optical sensor is continuously scanning the environment in a cubed radius for the presence of smoke
  • 9V Battery backup allowing the alarm to operate and provide protection continually during a mains outage
  • Test funtion to ensure alarm is working correctly, with fault and low battery warning for alarm maintenance
  • Hush button to temporarily silence the alarm during false alarms
  • Alarm volume: 85dB(A)@3m, loud enough to inform of potential danger but bears hearing safety in mind
  • Interconnecting availability, allowing you to connect up to 24 other heat and smoke alarms, or 12 CO alarms
  • Class 2 alarm, UKCA and CE certified
  • 10-Year product lifespan
