This flush hearing loop is for use with door entry systems, providing clear audio to hearing device wearers. It is designed to meet IP55 (Ingress Protection Rating) in correct installations. This module will accept input signals from: pre-recorded sound sources (line out signals). low voltage loudspeaker outputs, VOIP (voice over internet protocol) audio adapters. intercom systems, PA systems.
- AGC (Automatic Gain Control) self adjusts to accommodate variations in input level
- Constant-current loop drive
- Ohmically isolated audio line input
- LED status indication - internal indicators display drive and loop fault conditions
- Frequency response compliant with IEC 60118-4 (in correct installations)
- Low power consumption
- Ingress Protection Rating: IP55
- Inputs: 3.5mm TRS audio jack, screw terminals on 2.54mm euroblock
- Output: screw terminals on 5mm 2-way euroblock
- Power:14V DC 2.14A via 2.1mm (from CA-10-02 or host system)
- Loop drive: constant current, bounded by 4V RMS & 2A RMS
