Product Overview

The EX655 from Extech Instruments is a 600A true RMS AC/DC clamp meter + NCV with 6000 count backlit LCD display. This clamp meter also measures AC/DC voltage, AC current, DC current, inrush current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, continuity/diode test and has an NCV detector. The EX655 has a 1.18" jaw size which accommodates conductors up to 350 MCM. This meter also features data hold, min/max, relative function, low pass filter, inrush mode, DC zero function, LCD trending bargraph, auto power off and a convenient LED worklight.
  • Low impedance (LoZ) prevents false reading caused by ghost voltages, low pass filter (LPF)
  • Measures 6A, 60A, 600A (0.001A) AC current
  • Basic accuracy ACA is ±2.5% of rdg, DCA is ±2.5% of rdg
  • Measures 600µA (0.1µA) AC/DC µA current
  • Measures 1000V (0.1mV) DC voltage, 750V (1mV) AC voltage
  • Basic accuracy ACV is ±1.2% of rdg, DCV is ±0.8% of rdg
  • Non-contact voltage (NCV) range from 100V to 1000V
  • Measures 60Mohm (0.1ohm) resistance, 60mF (0.01nF) capacitance, 10Hz to 1MHz (0.01Hz) frequency
  • Measures -40 to 1832°F (1°F) and -40 to 1000°C (1°C) temperature
  • Dimension is 9" x 3" x 1.6" (228mm x 77mm x 41mm), weight is 9.4oz (265g)
  • Captures highest and lowest readings
  • Includes a relative function
  • LED worklight for use in dimly lit areas
  • Auto power-off to preserve batteries
  • Power: 3x AAA batteries (included)
