Product Overview

The ToughArmor MB991U3-1SB from Icy Dock is a rugged, full metal USB 3.0 external enclosure for 2.5” HDD/SSD drives that is built with enterprise-grade quality and has the ability to hot-swap drives. The removable EZ-Slide Mini tray design allows users to swap 2.5” SATA hard drives or SSDs without shutting down their system, making the drives interchangeable between a variety of ToughArmor drive bays. The enclosure is built with a USB 3.0 interface that features UASP support, capable of blazing fast transfer speeds up to 5Gb/s for supported devices.
  • Enterprise-grade portable enclosure for 2.5" hard drives and SSDs through a standard USB connection
  • Interchangeable EZ Slide Mini tray system for easy drive swapping, data backup and archiving
  • The EZ Slide Mini tray accomodates 2.5" drives from 5mm to 15mm high
  • Eagle-hook locking system keeps drives secure in the enclosure
  • Rugged, heavy duty metal enclosure with protective rubber sleeve that ensures stability on any flat surface
  • Two segment key lock and integrated Kensington lock slot provide additional physical security options
  • USB 3.0 interface with UASP spport and transfer speeds up to 5Gb/s
