Product Overview

The Grove system is a standardised modular prototyping platform designed to make assembling electronics projects easier and includes hundreds of different modules including sensor, actuator, communication and display functionality - more than enough to broaden the micro:bit's abilities for IoT projects. The Grove Inventor Kit includes the Grove Shield, 7 specially selected Grove modules and all the necessary connection cables to get started!
  • Built around the new Grove Shield for micro:bit v2.0 which can interface directly with up to 4 Grove modules (a micro:bit is not included)
  • No soldering or breadboard is required, simply connect the modules to the base unit and load the code
  • Includes 8 Grove modules which you can use to measure distance and display it, play music with gestures, or make a smart guard for your room
  • Well documented user guide includes 12 entertaining projects to get you started
  • All the necessary software libraries (packages) are available as free downloads
  • Integrated Micro USB connector lets you power the micro:bit directly from the Grove shield
