Product Overview
- The rain gauge is a self-emptying bucket-type rain gauge which activates a momentary button closure for each 0.011" of rain that is collected
- The anemometer encodes the wind speed by closing a switch which each rotation eg. a wind speed of 1.492mph produces a switch closure once per second
- The wind vane reports wind direction as a voltage produced by the combination of resistors that allow up to 16 different positions to be indicated
- The sensors use sealed magnetic reed switches and magnets so a voltage will be required to take any measurements
- Each sensor reports data via RJ11 terminated cables
- Supplied in kit form, basic assembly required
