Product Overview

A unique polyphonic audio board, the Tsunami Super WAV trigger allows you to create an interactive mix of music, dialogue and sound effects. Featuring 8 output channels each with independent real-time volume and sample-rate conversion. The Tsunami also has full Arduino and Python libraries available for easy integration into your projects.
  • Supports up to 4096 uncompressed, CD quality WAV files (16-bit, 44.1kHz mono/stereo)
  • Play and mix 32 mono or 18 stereo tracks independently & simultaneously
  • 8 Audio output channels (or 4 stereo) with independent playback control - route any track to any output
  • Seamless looping over arbitrary track length
  • 16 Individually selectable trigger inputs (contact closure or 3.3V control)
  • Output volumes adjustable from +10dB to -70dB
  • MIDI Connection with integrated opto-isolator for connection to a controller
  • Dedicated 'play' status digital output pin
  • Extensive serial control, compatible with SparkFun FTDI Basic 3.3V
  • Convenient Qwiic connectivity
  • USB-C & PTH inputs for power

Footnotes

Note: MicroSD card must be formatted with the correct file allocation size (32Kb) otherwise this will cause erratic behaviour with the Tsunami.

Warnings

Note: The Tsunami is a 3.3V device, and its inputs (including triggers and serial RX) are not 5V tolerant.
