High energy density, long storage and operating time in excess of 10 years. Low self-discharge (less than 1% per year at room temperature 20°C). Applications include memory back-up (RAM), real time clock, alarm system, sensors and water, gas electricity meters, road tolling system. These cells offer an excellent shelf life, good high-rate and low-rate capability, a wide operating temperature range.
